About

Barry Lederer

Barry Lederer hails from the town of Heath, OH. His fascination with music began early in life, sitting next to his mother while she played the piano. Little did he know that it would lead to a lifelong journey into the world… and music. Music is truly a universal art and language that can sometimes only be defined as a feeling or experience that words can only begin to describe. His fascination with music has led Barry to perform with many musicians and bands, including his classmate Ronn Price when he met and toured with Paul Davis who released many memorable vinyl recordings on Bang Records. It was a unique moment in recording history. Vinyl was as good in the 70’s as it is now. While at Bang in Atlanta, Barry worked with musicians and writers such as, Peabo Bryson, Andrew Gold, Paul Shaeffer and so many others. Hook, line, and sinker, music would be Barry’s love, destiny, and chosen career.

Currently - Barry is currently working under Afterstation Records to release music that he has both written/co-written and performed. His first release, Think About You, written by Barry Lederer, Jimmy Gunn, and Rafe Van Hoy (Van Hoy - Nashville Songwriters Association, Hall of Fame Winner), is set to be released on November 17, 2023.
